To remember.

The little things in life that make me feel happy. Especially during the times when I want to scream or cry, or on the verge of giving up.

When the weather is good enough for a swim (and when there is time for a leisure one!), drinking hot tea with family on a cold night, cooking and eating together, receiving a gift/parcel or even winning something, writing till the wee morning, and even browsing the supermarket at a neighbourhood mall. Or like being very prepared for Christmas 2014, when the skin clears up (ha!).

I'm sure they are different from the things that I used to like, e.g. going to town, chatting on the phone, buying clothes (on sale no less). No I don't/wouldn't miss those times.

Now, there are so many things I have to/want to/need to/ love to do that sometimes taking a nap here and there takes up too much time even. That's good and bad news anyway.

Countdown: 69 days to Korea.

This month and next.

Despite a morning swim (finally after all that rain) and the therapeutic effects of making not one but five cards (of which four are for this year's Christmas) because I was on work-standby mode, I ended up feeling like this-cannot-be-worse. I snapped, my shoulders ached like I've been on a flight to LA and my head couldn't stop spinning.

17th Incheon Asian Games Blogger "Crew".

When I first saw the recruitment for blogger crew for the IAG (Incheon Asian Games), I got pretty interested (I supposed I'm interested about anything Korea, or writing?). It took me a while to start working on my application and eventually completed it. And when I first saw the tweet that the result was out, I wasn't really expecting my name. I've to scroll down to take a second, longer look to make sure Tan Si Ying from Singapore is in fact me. In fact I wasn't really sure until I received their email.

Anyway I will be contributing ten articles over five months - five articles of my choice (individual pieces) and five team articles of specified topics. I've started working on my own and I've got to plan ahead especially when I will be out of town (in Korea no less!) for a month. My deadlines are the first Mondays of each month (except its January when it's due on the 20th).

I've started brainstorming/working on the first two articles and have a rough sense of what to write for my last piece (due about a week after coming back from Korea). I've got two more in between that I've given enough thoughts on what to write.

You can read more about my role here and here. I realised I could pretty much write differently at different platforms about the same thing (if you compare this entry with the other 2).

Countdown: 78 days to Korea. (You really should see my Twitter countdown. Its amazing I can write something every day since 117 days to Korea)

*

I need abit more sleep tonight. I've been working through the nights - brainstorming, researching/reading, talking to my sister and my only Korean friend about what to write (on top of my Korea trip planning). It's pretty interesting and I really want to write something that I am interested in and that will inspire readers.

What's more.

I wondered if the day was bad enough to warrant a post or I consciously reminded myself to try to pen more (sad stuff).

Received a truckful of scoldings directed technically not at me. Under such circumstances, the methods to undo the negative sentiments include (supposedly the most effective being) crying (consciously or not), going home, sweating, swimming, sleeping, drawing circles on the paper till it breaks or/and flushing down a toilet bowl choked full of toilet rolls. I sobbed and now the eyes hurt (and also from the lack of sleep), though I thought it wasn't enough.

And it couldn't be worse when tomorrow's dental day. It spells fear.

Countdown: 84 days going to 83 days.
