after youth

There are things one cannot achieve after youth (has passed).

Of which, I think one of them is unconditional fill-in-the-blank. At youth, passion and unconditional never seem to be far away. Pouring your heart out over what you love isn't uncommon nor difficult, when you have the whole of youth to spend, or waste.

After youth, however, unconditional gets layered with habits, preferences, life experiences and everything else that makes it conditional. Every free time is precious, endless cost-benefit analysis to weigh the options, and the confidence/false belief that I am right (in whichever decision I make).

I don't want to compromise, because I want it unconditionally.
