Daydreaming in the morning…
Who is there, to permit good days ahead of you, to permit happiness for the rest of the day for you? Why isn’t there an office or agent or government statutory board that does that? Just like how you applied for your passport, you applied for your future, you applied for your happiness. So that when they authorize to your agreement, they can no longer break their promise. Then all of our tomorrows are guarantee. Like what the banks always mentioning about Principal Guarantee. So that there is the clearinghouse that will give you whatever it promises to, just like in the futures and forward markets. So that there is no credit risk- you don’t have to worry that they aren’t giving you all of those on your Wish List.

Why can’t everyday of the student life be filled with joy and freedom, more than what it is now? When in university, do you get to know a lot of friends? No? But you are always in a different class, working with different people on many, many projects, don’t you then have many friends? It really isn’t the case. After the project ends, most of the time, conversations between you two limits only “So what modules are you taking this semester? Oh really, I took it before/ I am going to take it next semester, how is it/ I am taking it now, so what class are you in…”. Project mates remain as project mates. There seem to be high mobility barriers- they don’t move into the category of friends- people whom you meet after lessons, people whom you talked over the phone not about your mid-term test or project progress, people whom you still contact during the holidays, people whom you arranged to have lunch with, people whom you are always honest to, people whom always seem to know you, people whom seem to share what you like, people whom you are scared of losing, people whom you might take for granted…
With the uncertainties ahead, the university life seems to be short- lived, in some ways or another- When my own university life ends or, when my friends’ university lives end.

The writer’s note/ No matter if you are just a passing shadow or a staying friend in my life, as long as you were once, still are, significant to me, there is always a space in my heart. Listening to yan zi’s new song that snippet of just 1 min 20 sec. When she first became known, I was still in my junior college times…people always said how times flies, I thought, how I fly to today…
